ScubaPro
The ScubaPro I, ScubaPro II & ScubaPro III are all sister vessel of the Pro Dive Cairns Fleet. Each boat has the same, or very similar layout. Indeed, the ScubaPro welcomes up to 32 guests in it’s 16 centrally air-conditioned cabins. Fourteen cabins are twins and 2 cabins are doubles. There is one shared bathroom for every 2 rooms, so 8 bathrooms total. The communal areas include a very large sundeck which purpose is clearly to relax, sunbath and mingle with fellow divers. The other deck is a very roomy dive deck. Built with the Outer Barrier Reef in mind, the Scuba Pro boats are fitted with all the latest facilities and technologies to conduct a great diving operation.
What’s included in the price ? First of all, the 11 dives, which comprise 2 night dives, are included as well as all the diving and snorkeling equipment. Also, corrective mask lenses are available for divers who need it. Plus, every diver gets a dive insurance. Transfers and pickup/drop offs at a city location in Cairns are included. On-board, all meals are included as well as bed sheets.

Ocean Quest
This stunning 36 meters catamaran has a cruise speed of 13 knots and is permanently moored on the Outer Barrier Reef. Indeed, guests are taking speedboats to reach it. The Ocean Quest can comfortably accommodate 48 guests on the same guest/space ratio than it’s smaller competitor, the ScubaPro boats.
The Ocean Quest has 23 cabins, all with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and television. There is enough space over the 3 decks to comfortably welcome 48 guests. Indeed, the spacious indoor lounge is air conditioned and includes a salon with entertainment system and a bar/lounge area. Furthermore, on the main deck is a spacious dining area which easily seats all the guests at meal time. All meals are included and served buffet-style, while alcoholic beverages and extra snacks are for sale.
As for the diving, the gear is rented from them and included in the price. There’s You can decide to take an advanced course, nitrox certification, or anything else. There is extra charge for this and it needs to be booked in advance.

Kangaroo Explorer
This 25 meters catamaran was designed for it’s actual purpose; cruising the coastal Queensland & discovering the underwater world of the Outer Barrie Reef.
The Kangaroo Explorer accepts a maximum of 36 passengers on-board. Indeed, with 16 comfortable cabins, there’s plenty of room for every one. Cabins are either twins or 4 bunk-beds while only a few include a double bed. No extras are charged for a specific type of room, it’s goes on a first come, first served basis. Meals and bedroom linens are included in the price, but there are no towels on-board, so you must bring your own.
The social areas on the Kangaroo Explorer consist of a spacious salon on the main deck, a well-stocked bar and a sun lounge, partially shaded and including a library. All meals are freshly cooked daily by a chef and served on the main deck’s galley.
Access to and from the water is granted by the very spacious dive deck. The dive team will take divers and snorkelers to the best diving spots and guide them through amazing discoveries. All the diving equipment, even a computer, are included in the 1 or 2 nights scuba diving itineraries. Two night dives are usually offered on every trip, while you will do 8 day dives. Plus, overall you are diving on 3 different reefs.
