Loading...Batu bolong is a world class dive site! At the surface, we can just see a small rock with hole in it, but underwater it is a giant rock going deep into the blue to 70m. This rock is full of all kinds of marine life with an amazing hard and soft coral cover and many cracks.

There are some huge schools of fishes around the surface, be careful to not lose your buddy ;-). Many pelagic fishes such are dogtooth tuna, giant trevallies and Napoleon wrasse are hunting around the divers. Deeper you can see many white tip sharks sleeping on the slope. This is really an amazing dive site of the Komodo Islands!!! But be careful the current can be very strong and divers must be experienced and take care.

Diving in Komodo Islands is all about action! It is BIG fishes land! With wonderful coral, it is just incredible diving all year round.
A very rewarding dive site and one of the best in the Komdo Islands. There are many Sharks and Turtles!
Great diving spot! Saw nurse shark, whit tip shark, plenty of other fish and corrals of course. Visibility is good enough, but current is quite strong, especially on both sides of the rock so stay close to the rock will help you. Descend on you max depth and zigzag your way up looks to be working. Definetly must dive spot
I did not have enough eyes to take it all in at once. Sharks and all sorts of bigger fish. At my dive somewhere 2012 we were warned of washing mills on both sides of the rock.
Did the dive with a local dive operator from the main city in Flores island and as second dive the Manta alley.
So far one of my favourite dives. Really strong current was acting really weirdly due to full moon. Many black tip sharks some turtles hiding from currents and lot of fish schools.
Batu Bolong is a great dive site. As well if you have not had a chance to Dive Manta Point (LINK REMOVED). I highly recommend it. It is known as one of the best places to see Mantas and very close to Batu Bolong.
