Beacon point dive site offers the chance to spot many stingrays, reef sharks and also the beautiful leopard shark. It is the longest reef of the Similan islands and features superb coral from shallow water to 30 meters deep. It is actually where there is the biggest number of coral species of the Similan Islands, with over 300 species on the same reef! This dive site is perfect for the macro lovers with many nudibranchs, scorpion fishes and other critters to observe. The site is located just south of the Beacon Beach spot. There is usually no current, making it a very relaxing dive

Beacon Point is classified as a Deep dive. Beacon Point is sometimes classified as a Drift dive. This location is a Reef. This is great place for spotting and diving with Sharks!

Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isOctober to November. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Beacon Point on the right for the exact location.
