The luxurious Sea Safari VI is a liveaboard offering scuba diving cruises in Indonesia. Indeed, the 35 meters vessel was built in 2000 and has been taking divers to the best of Indonesia, including Raja Ampat, Komodo, the Lembeh strait, Wakatobi, the Forgotten Islands, etc.
Boat Cabins & Layout
The Sea Safari 6 can welcome a maximum of 20 guests on-board. Indeed, divers have plenty of space with 10 lavish bedrooms and cozy social areas. The cabins are spread over 3 decks and each comes with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and hot water showers.

The lower deck cabins are either twin-shared, featuring 2 single beds, or double occupancy, meaning 1 double bed. The main deck features two spacious double-bed cabins while the upper deck also has two doubles plus two twin-shared cabins.
Sea Safari VI On-Board Facilities
Indoor, you’ll find a massive restaurant-like dining area where the 20 guests can comfortably sit and enjoy freshly cooked meals. Also, you’ll love the sizable indoor lounge area, which comes complete with a big screen television and media library.
Furthermore, if you head outside, you’ll find a cozy bar and lounge area. Indeed, this area is partly covered so you will be comfortable there even on a hot afternoon. Walk up a few stairs and you will be on the uncovered sundeck, which is the sunbathers and star gazers favorite place to be! It’s also the perfect spot for a great photo shoot as the view of Indonesia is stunning from up there!
The Sea Safari 6 is a proud member of the Sea Safari Cruises fleet, which also brought you the Cheng Ho! Also, the 2 other sisterships, which have almost the same name are the Sea Safari VII and Sea Safari 8.
The Sea Safari 6 is the smallest vessel of the fleet and welcomes only 20 divers, comparing to 24 and 28 for the others. Hence, the experience is less crowded and somewhat more personal on the SS6.
Scuba Diving with the Sea Safari VI
The Sea Safari vessels may be traditional looking phinisi but they are equipped with top quality modern navigation and safety equipment. Indeed, scuba diving with the Sea Safari 6 will be guided by professional guides and safety is the priority.
The spacious dive station has all the space you need to gear up and store your stuff. There is also a camera station, so underwater photographers will have everything they need.
