South Siam 4 dive boat review
The 28 meters South Siam 4, also called Somboon 4, is a liveaboard offering scuba diving cruises to the Similan Islands in Thailand. Indeed, the dive boat offers flexible itineraries which also sails to famous sites such as Koh Bon, Tachai and Richelieu Rock.

Boat Cabins & Layout
Just like it’s sistership, the South Siam 3, this liveaboard welcomes 28 guests on-board, hosting them in 14 cabins. The cabins come in different layouts as they are either twin-shared (10 cabins) or displaying a double-bed (4 cabins). Also, there are 6 bathrooms on-board, all with hot water showers and they are shared between the guests. The cabins each are air-conditioned and displays sufficient storage, a reading lamp and electrical plugs.

South Siam 4 ‘s On-board Facilities
The communal areas on the South Siam 4 are spread over the upper and top decks. First, the upper deck is where you will find a spacious living room area, fitted with a complete audio/video entertainment system. Secondly, at the back of the vessel, you’ll find a spacious covered dining area where everyone can sit comfortably. Finally, there no doubt that the very top sundeck is a favorite spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding views of Thailand. The top deck is uncovered and there are loungers all over the place for you to enjoy!

Scuba Diving with the South Siam 4
Despite the large number of guest the Somboon 4 can welcome, the dive deck should never feel over crowded as it appears well organized. Indeed, with individual gear stations, boxed storage and hangers for your wet suit, that’s all set!
Furthermore, there’s a very convenient dive platform located at the aft which will allow easy water entries and exits. Finally, the experienced team of dive guides and instructors on-board should be guiding you through an incredible adventure to the best dive sites of Thailand! Needless to remind you of the reputation of Koh Bon, Tachai and especially Richelieu Rock… just head there and dive it!
