MY Vasco dive boat review

The 34 meters MY Vasco is a liveaboard offering scuba diving cruises in the Philippines. The Vasco has been satisfying divers from all over the world since 1998 and continues today with multiple itineraries available. Indeed, the vessel was fully renovated in 2010 and offers many routes such as Tubbataha and Apo reefs as well as Coron and the Sulu Sea.

Boat Cabins & Layout

The MY Vasco can welcomes up to 16 passengers, with a crew of 10 in addition to the dive team, the guests should be well catered for! There are 8 cabins total and each has individually controlled air-conditioning. Also, the layout of the cabins offers flexible accommodation as 6 cabins have both a double bed and a single third berth. Indeed, with the 2 remaining cabins being twin-shared, the Vasco is ideal for either couples or friends.

MY Vasco’s On-board Facilities

The main deck on the Vasco is home to a sizable indoor salon. Fully air-conditioned, this salon is perfect to relax, watch the television or listen to some music and it’s also one of the dining area. Indeed, the main dining room is actually outside, in an open-air but covered area. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your meal along with the stunning view of the Philippines.

Furthermore, there’s plenty of outdoor space where to hang out and enjoy the sun and the fresh air. The bow is a great place where to hang out as well as the second lounge, covered but open-air. Finally, the top deck offers another incredible area from which to admire the surrounding landscape between the dives.

Scuba Diving with MY Vasco

The dive deck is quite spacious and displays individual kitting up stations. Indeed, the deck of the MY Vasco is large and followed by a convenient platform. As you can see on the picture below, there’s basket storage in the middle of the deck which can be used to store your stuff.

The professional team of dive guides and instructors will help throughout the journey and guide to you some amazing diving.
