Customer Review

“All you need is on this spacious boat. It was an amazing scuba safari experience! The staff is helpful and friendly, the boat is in good condition and all the amenities are present to provide the maximal comfort during the stay. I had never dove the Maldives before and I have to say it’s definitely paradise on earth like I have never seen before – and I travelled and dove a great deal. The reef is pristine, the visibility in the water was great and I could admire so much of the underwater world. Wishing you good weather, I fully advise this boat for your next trip!”

  1. The German couple that operate the vessel are truly awesome people. They and their team are always providing a great service for the guests. The boat is roomy and well maintained. The food is great but as I don’t like fish I would have appreciated more diversity in the choices of main course. Otherwise side dishes, breakfast and snacks are really great. The crew was super understanding and trying to do their best to make me happy. The dives were awesome and we saw plenty of fishes and reef sharks! We had our own equipment and everything was ready to use to keep it clean all week long on the side boat. Great experience in the beautiful Maldives.

  2. Where did you guys book ? I booked this boat with Dive The World like a year ago and I just wanted to say that it was an awesome experience. DTW does a great job on booking and answering all the questions you might have. I like this website, can we book right here ? Still getting around! Basically, the boat is great, food is excellent and service is as well. Northern atolls are definitely the best diving in the world!

  3. I enjoyed our week on this boat. However, I found the diving very strenuous at times. Reef hooks needed.
Staff and owners were very nice and extremely knowledgeable about diving and the location. It is for experienced divers. We saw great things, but if you don’t like strong currents…. don’t take the Northern Atolls trip. It was a very deserted trip … we didn’t see any other boats at all, which was nice ! we had the place to ourselves. The boat is really amazing and we had the best cabin .. which cost extra… worth it though, to us!

  4. Hi Divezoners

Just dropping by to say a quick thank you to those who are sharing reviews with the scuba diving community here on Divezone! (Thank you Naomi, Roman & Valerie!!!)

Good to know that the Amba is pleasing customers over and over through the years! :)

    Safe bubbles!

  5. This trip should be listed as an Advanced trip with a minimum of 100 dives logged. Hooked dives, negative entries and currents that will blow your wet suit off. The boat is nice but smoking is allowed on the back deck which is the best area on the boat to hang out. If you dont smoke and are not an advanced diver this is not the trip for you. Oh and the food was MEH…just ok not horrible but average and boring.
On the positive side the dives were great.
