Customer Review

“When you get on this wonderful boat, take your shoes off, put them away for the entire week, and then grab the welcome drink that comes with a smile and… Breathe. You are about to live the most exciting experience of your life. No kidding. My favorite dives where incontestably the Manta Point, the Kuda Giri ship wreck and Maayaa Thila respectively for the most stunning and biggest manta I could ever steadily observe, the amazing intact ship wreck and the most intense night dive ever with at least 10 reef sharks hunting for food and one massive barracuda looking for his dinner as well. The many other dives were also all stunning in different ways. Nothing could have made this whole trip any better.

The ship is great, the rooms are spacious, air conditioned and with en-suite bathroom. The dining and seating area are spacious. The staff if always prompt and keen to go out of their way to help you in the best possible way. They are polite, have good manners but are also super friendly if you are keen for a talk.

It was definitely one of the most thrilling week of our lives – my husband sure agrees on everything stated above. Fully recommending anyone reading this to go ahead with their booking, you sure will enjoy!”

“As soon as we arrived on the MY Sharifa we were greeted with warm welcomes and big smiles. We had a great time on this boat, everybody was very respectful. The food was outstanding, you can take this as a quality guarantee as we are very picky and healthy eaters. The space on the boat is efficiently divided and the rooms are great, with ensuite.

Diving equipment was okay, no more, no less. I think some stuff could be traded for newer material. The diving dhoni was great, well organized and always settled for the next dive. The diving staff was nice and professional, it was a pleasure to dive with them for several days. The Maldives are wonderful, both on land and in the sea world.

It has been a wonderful holiday and we would do it all over again for sure. We will highly recommend this type of holiday to our closest friends as well.

  1. Hi there,

My friend and I (2 pax) have booked tickets for 18 Sep – 28 Sep to Male and we are interested in joining a liveaboard. Would like to find out if it is still available?

Appreciate if you could share more information (rates, route, etc.) with us.

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards
    Xinyi

  2. We had a 6-day diving onboard MV Sharifa and it had been a blast. Travelling with a group of close friends had been an extra enjoyable activity on board since they took care of everything else while we had dives day in and day out for 6 days, allowing us to discover the wonders of the underwater playground in the string of islands in Maldives. And that’s a lot better than being anchored in just one resort. I always say, why limit yourself when you can make use of the time for adventure?
There were just so many things to see and quite honestly, six days isn’t enough to frolic around Maldives. Our itinerary took us through the Male atoll and the North and South Ari Atolls, sets of beautiful coral reef formations, home to a variety of exquisite fishes. The numbers are so overwhelming. With each successful dive, thanks to our knowledgeable dive masters and cruise director, we were able to experience the best of Maldives.
Other than diving, food was great on board. We had our meals served buffet-style everyday and we had afternoon snacks too. For those who woke-up early, they had a light tummy fillers for pre-breakfast. No other clamor for other amenities except that I wished soft drinks and alcoholic drinks were also included in the package as I’m used to having beer after a good meal.

  3. Thanks to Giacomo and Ganda which I believe are the genius behind the super entertaining week we spent on their beautiful vessel. Everybody was prompt and competent, putting us through one of the best week of our lives. The diving was, as expected, incredible. We were lucky enough to see numerous reef sharks, 2 ginormous whale sharks, many manta rays and all the beautiful colourful inhabitants of the corals. On the boat, we were happy to share our time with many awesome people from all over the world and with the staff that was always keen for a chat and always smiling. Simply superb adventure!

  4. Great staff, very welcoming and cheerful. You will always feel like you belong on the boat. The landscapes along the way are stunning, so are the dives. The diving material needs some upgrade but nothing major. The boat is great and offering comfortable stay for large groups
