Atlantis Puerto Galera Dive Resort Review

According to UNESCO, Puerto Galera is one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Needless to say that it was a natural choice for a resort and liveaboard company such as Atlantis to establish a hotel. Plus, the Atlantis resort in Puerto Galera got it’s spot right on Sabang beach. If the name rings a bell, it’s because the same company also offers the Atlantis Azores liveaboard, which you may have heard of.

The Rooms at Atlantis Puerto Galera

The Atlantis resort in Puero Galera offers 40 rooms and suites with various features. The rooms all have individually controlled air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans. You will also have access to high speed Wi-Fi in every room and cable television with movies and sport channels available. Plus, rooms have en-suite bathrooms, toiletries, safety deposit boxes and a fully stocked mini-bar.

Resort Facilities

The Atlantis resort is centrally located in Puerto Galera and is right on the beach. The resort has a restaurant and bar as well as spa services. Moreover, you can enjoy bar service on the pool side. The pool is multi-level and also used for scuba diving trainings. Plus, as a diving resort, it comes complete with a room dedicated to photographers with plenty of space, shelf storage, a computer station and electrical sockets. You will also find a complete dive shop and dive center on site.

Diving at Atlantis Puerto Galera

The Atlantis dive resort features a complete dive shop on site and has all the equipment for both recreational and technical diving. You can rent gear, enroll in a scuba diving class or join any day trip to some of the best dive sites of the Philippines. Indeed, as a dive resort in the Philippines’s paradise area of Puerto Galera, it gives you access to over 30 dive sites nearby, and much more with a quick boat ride.

This dive center is PADI affiliated and offers most of their courses and specializations. You will find a classroom on-site, a training pool and a camera room with computer stations. Also, note that Atlantis has this facility in Puerto Galera, but there’s also the Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete and the floating resort, the Atlantis Azores.
