Blue Ribbon – Anilao Dive Resort Review

The Blue Ribbon dive resort was originally based in Puerto Galera, but is now relocated in Anilao. The area is  a paradise for marine photographers and critter seekers. Plus, along with the resort’s relocating in 2018 came a whole upgrade in the installations. Indeed, there were renovations made as well as upgrades in facilities such as the pool, bar, and much more.

The Rooms at Blue Ribbon Anilao

The resort boasts 7 comfortable rooms that have various features. Every room is air-conditioned, has hot and cold water as well as plenty of storage space. Plus, you will find a television and a safety deposit box in all the rooms. Moreover, your room stay comes with a free breakfast every morning.

More specifically, the Blue Ribbon dive resort offers two seaview rooms with balcony overlooking the bay as well as one premium room with partial seaview. Furthermore, there are 3 standards rooms featuring both a queen bed and a single bed for more flexibility. The last room is a single room, smaller than the others but still boasting a queen bed for the solo traveler!

Resort Facilities

The recently renovated and relocated Blue Ribbon resort gets the essentials: a pool, a restaurant and bar plus a stunning sea view! The lounge overlooks the Mabini Bay in Anilao, where the dive resort has relocated in 2018. The restaurant’s menu features international dishes as well as traditional Filipino meals.

Furthermore, the divers and photographers will be happy with a spacious camera room. The rooms displays shelf storage, plenty of electrical plugs and enough space for a couple people to work on their cameras at once.

Diving at Blue Ribbon Anilao

Anilao is famous for muck diving, but also has amazing reef dives on the nearby islands. The Blue Ribbon dive center proudly boast to deliver thorough briefings before each dives and to perform the dives in small group of 4 – so 1 guide for 4 divers.

The Blue Ribbon is a 5 stars PADI dive resort & Aqualung partner. Thus, you will find a whole range of PADI courses and specializations available there. Plus, if you’re not travelling with your equipment, you’ll have access to Aqualung equipment rental from the Blue Ribbon dive center.
