Saltitude Dive Resort Review

On the exquisite shores of Balayan Bay lies Saltitude Dive and Beach Resort. Located in the village of Anilao, roughly 3 hours south of Manila, Saltitude is a resort that has something to offer any traveller passing through. The region is known as the diving capital of the Philippines, a very impressive title considering the country is made up of over 7000 islands!

Starting out, there is the Standard Twin Room. This cozy room features a double size bed. Secondly, there is a triple room, which features 3 twin beds, and an en-suite bathroom. Stepping up to the Deluxe rooms, each room has a balcony and en suite bathroom. There are 2 options here, either two Twin beds, or one Double bed. Moreover, traveling families or friend groups should consider the large family room containing 2 double beds, a single bed, and 2 bunk beds. That’s accommodation for as many as 9 people!

Resort facilities

Saltitude truly has something to offer everybody. Other than diving in Anilao, which we’ll get into in the next section, the resort is a hub for other water sports, namely windsurfing and kayakingLocated next door to the training center for the Philippines national windsurfing team, guests are able to take advantage of high-level training, perfect for learning the ropes of an exciting new sport!

The Saltitude resort has its own private sandy beach, which is great for sunbathers, swimmers, and snorkelers. Plus, kayaks and paddleboards are available for guests who prefer to float on the water, rather than dive beneath it! Also, you can enjoy a variety of food and drink at the resort’s restaurant and bar. In fact, they proudly proclaim that every hour is happy hour!

Scuba Diving with Saltitude Dive and Beach Resort 

Affiliated with PADI, RAID, and SSI, Saltitude Dive Resort has no shortage of courses and specialties. The instructors are happy to further your training, regardless of ability level. Plus, equipment rentals are offered for travelers without their own dive gear. 

Boasting very experienced divemasters that are well versed in the best local sites, Saltitude is your gateway to the best diving in the Philippines. Indeed, fun dive boats head out during the day to take their guests to some of the most biodiverse waters on the planet. Plus, for the more adventurous or advanced diver, boat crews also run evening boats for Night Dives.
