Loading...Tanjung Sari dive site is just a 3 min boat ride from Padangbai beach and the dive shops. It is located not far from Blue Lagoon and can sometimes be done as part of the same dive. It is a nice slope reef going down to 30 meters with some good coral formation and very good fish life. This easy dive site is ideal for macro photography and for night diving with Whitetip reef shark! Enjoy!

Padang Bai
Night Diving, Underwater Macro Photography, Resident Whitetip Reef Sharks, Huge green Turtles, and crystal clear water! Also a great Snorkelling spot!
Tanjung Sari, AKA Shark Point or Citizen Point, is a great dive site to spot whitetip reef sharks. Look for them either swimming in the blue, laying on sandy patches or hiding under corals. Most spotting occur around 17m. It looks like there is a single family of sharks staying here with up to 12 individuals. One of the large female was pregnant back in 2011 and gave birth to a few pups that ended up hiding in shallow waters. The same sharks can also be spotted at the Ferry Channel dive sites as they alternate between the two sites.
Other species of sharks are also present at times. Those include nurse sharks and wobbegongs. The latter prefer cold waters and are spotted more frequently during the dry season months of July-November.
Pelagics are often attracted by the strong current that can be found here. Schools of jackfish, surgeonfish, batfish and even tunas come here to battle the current and hunt on smaller preys. Green turtles also frequent this area.
Like most dive sites in Bali, macro is great here. Leaf scorpionfish, nudibranches, Bargibanti pygmy seahorses and orangutan crabs can be found here by local dive guides.
Please note that this can be a difficult dive site with strong currents and that it is not always possible to dive here even for experienced divers!

it was one of my best day in my life . it was really amazing adventure specially for me cause it was first diving for me. but please how can i contact with office there we didnt get our photos which we took while diving because it was too late on that day and they tried in next day but we couldnt get it because of our flight. anyway any possiple way to get our photos for these massive moments in our life
