PADI Divemaster Internship Tenerife – FREE TRAINING & EQUIPMENT

So, you’re looking to change your life? By becoming a PADI Divemaster you will enter into a world of possibilities and adventure. Enjoy 8 weeks with us to become a qualified PADI Divemaster. We are Paradise Divers, a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre located in Costa Adeje, South Tenerife. Through your internship you will receive all training and equipment hire for FREE! • Learn with our resident PADI Course Director Dan Scarlata – with 15+ years of instructing experience and 16+ years of owning dive centres in both England and Tenerife, Dan is one of the most experienced PADI Course Directors in the region (not to mention his 9,000+ dives!)
• As we are a fully functioning and busy dive centre, conducting all PADI courses from beginner to Professional as well as guided dives and snorkelling trips, you will work with and learn from “real life” customers. A lot of dive centres provide their training through scenarios. Whilst this is totally fine, we prefer to offer you the most realistic training
• We are one of the few dive centres in the region who owns a dive boat! You will gain experience of working from a dive boat including docking, mooring, anchoring and emergency procedures
• As we also love to dive from the shore, we have access to over 30 different dive sites. You will experience a HUGE variety of diving styles such as drift diving, SMB deployment, ship-wrecks, wall dives and dive sites that require the use of a compass and/or natural navigation – all important factors future employers will look for!
• Our large dive centre is full of excellent facilities including; classroom for interactive lessons and briefings, large kit room with separate wet and dry areas, servicing room which is equipped with two fully certified Coltri compressors to offer you both air and enriched air (Nitrox)
• We also have our own swimming pool with hot showers and changing facilities. This is a few steps away from our dive centre which makes it perfect to learn and practice all of your confined dive skills… there’s also a Jacuzzi to relax in after a hard day’s training

OK, so what about the FREE training part?

No matter what your current certification level is, we will provide your training and full equipment FREE OF CHARGE! The only thing you will need to pay for is the PADI Materials, e.g. access to your online theory via PADI and your professional cue slates. These are sold at a highly reduced price as to what you will see online, so please contact us and let us know your current dive certification level so we can provide you with a quote.

So, what do you need to start?

Prerequisites for all PADI Divemaster packages

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be comfortable in water as well as able to swim
• A medical statement signed by a doctor within the last 12 months (we can organise this for you when you are here)
• Have an overall positive attitude
• Be a team player and eager to learn

All certifications from other training organisations may apply.
