Thorfinn
This 58 meters sailing ship was built in 1954 in Norway! Incredible! Obviously, it has been refurbished and improved many times, the last time being in 2008. The SS Thorfinn is an outstanding liveaboard and, indeed, has a very advantageous value for money ratio!
Despite it’s huge size, the Thorfinn welcomes a reasonable number of guests on each trip. Indeed, 20 divers are welcomed in 10 comfortable, double-occupancy cabins. Every room has vanities, T.V & DVD and ample closet space. Moreover, 8 of the cabins have en-suite bathroom and a double or queen bed plus one single berth, making it suitable for couples but also for friends! For an upgraded and more luxurious experience, customers can book ‘Thors Lair’. Indeed, it’s a luxury master suite with king bed, 44 inches television, pc table, walking closet and much more. Furthermore, the communal areas are many and all boasts more than enough space. The dining room is roomy and has ample space to never feel cramped even at meals time. The guests lounge is great to relax and boasts a complete entertainment system. Diving & Photograhy
Ultimately, the Thorfinn’s best features are yet to come. Indeed, the vessel has all it take for diving and underwater photography. First of all, there are 3 camera stations, with storage, charging sockets and compressed air gun. Plus, the larger diving tenders have a camera table as well! The crew is professional and trained so they can help with your precious material at any time.
The dive deck & platform are huge. Indeed, they boast enough space for the 2 dive launches to get ready at the same time. The dive launches are literally small dive boats as they include all the tools and technologies needed such as a depth sounder. Furthermore, for the divers convenience, there are fresh water showers also!
