Jardines Aggressor II Liveaboard Review

The Jardines Aggressor is a liveaboard offering diving cruises in Cuba. The 33.5 meters vessel is actually part of a program called Cuba Travel Program II and will take you to discover the beautiful Gardens of the Queen (Jardines de la Reina).

The program includes a 7 night scuba diving cruises to the best dive sites of the Jardines de la Reina, which are located nearly 100 km off the southern coast of Cuba. All long the week, you’ll have access to presentations and discussion groups hosted by local marine biologists and specialists. It’s your chance to dive an impressive Eco-system and learn about how Cuba managed to preserve it so well.

Boat Cabins & Layout

The Jardines Aggressor features 10 cabins on-board and welcomes 20 guests on each trip. There are 8 cabins located on the lower deck while 2 cabins are at the bow on the main deck.

Jardines Aggressor’s On-board Facilities

The dive boat has everything a liveaboard is expected to have, and more! Indeed, the vessel is quite spacious and offers large communal areas. The big salon, pictured below, is located on the main deck and is a cozy space where everyone can gather and enjoy the complete TV/media system. Also, if you walk upstairs to get to the upped deck, that’s where you’ll find the galley along with a restaurant-like dining room.

Furthermore, step outside on that same upper deck and you’ll find just as much space where you can hang out. Plus, that’s where the jacuzzi tub is located. Indeed, those who like to stay in the shade will be happy as the sundecks are partly shaded. Also, the sunbathers are served with a huge area fitted with sun loungers so they can relax, work on their tan and enjoy the view of beautiful Cuba.

Scuba Diving with the Jardines Aggressor II

The boat features a sizable dive deck including a camera table, dive lockers and plenty of space to gear up. There is also a convenient dive platform right at the aft which features stairs and ladders for easy entries / exits to the water.
