Malang Rock is a very popular dive site in Tioman Island. It can get crowded during the weekends so it is better not to dive there at these times. The site is made up of many rocks with good and healthy hard corals. It is quite shallow so it is a perfect dive site for beginners of for a late afternoon dive. The variety of fish life is amazing and if there is current it is possible to also see pelagic fishes passing by.
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isFebruary to March. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Malang Rock on the right for the exact location.
