Renggis Island offers a very easy dive site perfect for beginners or night dive in Tioman. The maximum depth is around 16 m deep but you can also go to see the two thai fishing wrecks around 20 m deep. On this dive site you can very often see blacktip reef shark and green turtles. It is a good place for underwater macro photography with mostly no current and good visibility. It is also one of the best spots in Tioman Island for snorkeling!
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isFebruary to March. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Renggis Island on the right for the exact location.

Tioman island
Nice and easy diving in clear water and beautiful coral reefs. Good location to take diving courses.
Destinations

I completed my Open Water Dive Course with Tioman Dive Center with Kay (my instructor). It was a great experience and he was very knowledgeable. After that I went to Renggis Island for a leisure dive. As it was in the last week of September visibility was around 15 m or more and but the current was mild. Apart from all the usual coral fish we expect to see, we also got to see turtles, puffer fish and a single barracuda. At one end of the island someone got the idea to place a treadmill and a monkey gym!
