Find your cabin
With a capacity to welcome 22 passengers, the Cocos Island Aggressor features 12 cabins, including twin, double and solo options. In each cabin, you will find an ensuite bathroom and individual air-conditioning. The current layout includes 6 Deluxe twin cabins, 4 Master cabins and 2 Solo cabins. Master cabins have large windows; three have twin beds and one has a queen bed for couples. Each Solo cabin accommodates one guest.

Unwind between dives
Experience relaxation and comfort within the Cocos Island Aggressor’s inviting spaces. The main deck hosts a spacious indoor saloon that doubles as a dining area, where you will enjoy freshly prepared meals by the onboard chef. Meals, snacks, soft drinks and a limited selection of local beer and wine are included. You will also find a spacious sun deck with lounge chairs and a stocked beverage cooler.
Your Cocos Island diving itinerary
The Cocos Island Aggressor provides personal lockers for dive gear. All dives take place from tenders. Nitrox is available at an additional cost; confirm the current package when booking.
Embark on an 11-day/10-night itinerary that synchronizes with tidal movements. Departing from Puntarenas, you will be sailing for a 36-hour voyage across the Pacific Ocean to reach Cocos Island. The Cocos Island Aggressor will then remain stationed there throughout the cruise. A 10-night trip offers approximately 18–21 dives, with opportunities to see schooling hammerhead sharks, whitetip reef sharks and rays. Wildlife sightings and dive schedules depend on conditions. No night diving is currently offered at Cocos Island.

Flights, transfers and time aboard
- Before embarkation: fly into San José (SJO) at least one day early and book a hotel night. Airport-to-hotel travel is separate; scheduled transfers between the designated host hotel and Puntarenas are included. Confirm the pickup hotel on your booking.
- At sea: allow about 36 hours outbound and 28–32 hours returning. A 10-night trip usually offers 18–21 dives, with up to three daytime dives on diving days; weather and site conditions control the schedule.
- Return: Aggressor lists flights after 12:30 p.m. on disembarkation day. Obtain the transfer and flight timing in writing before buying a non-refundable ticket; an extra hotel night gives more flexibility.
Bring certification cards, proof of mandatory dive-accident insurance and Nitrox certification if using Nitrox. The evacuation-plan fee does not replace your insurance. Budget separately for the 10-night park fee of USD 490 plus 13% VAT, the USD 30 emergency evacuation plan and, for departures from July 1, 2026, a USD 150 fuel surcharge per person. Confirm all inclusions and extras before booking. Park fees and VAT are payable onboard in cash.
What should you budget in total?
Comparable basis: USD per person, 10 nights, published 2026 fares for departures from 1 July, shared Deluxe cabin for Aggressor; Sea Hunter requires a quote for matching dates and occupancy. Reference calculations checked 28 September 2026, not live offers. Do not add an extra twice if it is already included in your quote.

With the same assumptions and Nitrox: Master USD 8,102.20–8,121.70; dedicated Solo USD 9,752.20–9,771.70. Scheduled host-hotel/dock transfers are included.
Aggressor fuel is listed at USD 150; the upper end allows USD 19.50 if 13% tax applies to fuel. Nitrox is USD 150 + 13% = USD 169.50. Card surcharges are excluded. The travel webpage specifies cash for park fees and VAT and a 3% fee on other card payments; the August trip PDF instead mentions a 3% surcharge on park fees paid by card. Confirm accepted payment methods and the final tax treatment with the operator.
Full holiday budget: add flights, mainland hotels, airport–hotel transfers, dive insurance, rentals, internet and optional gratuities. These are cruise subtotals, not all-inclusive holiday prices.

How many dives can I expect?
The operator’s August 2026 guide lists 18–21 dives on a 10-night trip, subject to conditions. Night dives are not offered.
Is the advertised fare the full holiday cost?
No. Use the budget breakdown above and add your flights, hotel, insurance and chosen extras. Verify the final quote for your departure.
Which cabin should I choose?
Deluxe offers the lowest published fare; Master adds large windows; Solo provides a cabin for one. Compare the bed configuration as well as the price.
Are hammerhead sightings guaranteed?
No. Marine wildlife is unpredictable. Choose this itinerary for the opportunity to explore Cocos, without treating any species sighting as guaranteed.
