Hanging Gardens located in the South of the Island, is one of the best dive sites of Sipadan. It is a beautiful wall with a great variety of colorful hard and soft coral, barrel sponges and sea fans. Along the wall you can discover a whole range of damselfish, chromis, sweetlips on black coral, clownfish, lobsters hiding in the cracks and tiny sea slugs . Sometimes, there are so many turtles that you can see dozens in a single dive! There also many reef sharks swimming around. It is also an excellent spot for snorkeling and underwater photography.
You can dive Hanging gardens all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Hanging gardens on the right for the exact location.
