South Point is a very special diving site in Sipadan! It is famous for its magnificent wall going deep down into the blue fully covered with untouched coral. There are many pelagic fishes swimming in the current with schools of barracudas, trevallies and many turtles. You can also see manta rays here quite often. If you are an experienced diver, you can go down deep in the early morning and maybe have the chance to spot hundreds of Hammerhead Sharks swimming together!!! You can also encounter the rare thresher shark! Be aware that this is just for tech divers with special equipment! If you stay more shallow you can see many turtles and whitetip sharks. Enjoy this incredible dive site!
You can dive South Point all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of South Point on the right for the exact location.
