Siam Bay Statues dive site is located on the Northwest side of Ko Racha Yai, about 2 hours by boat from Phuket Island. It is very popular and interesting dive site. It is the only place in the world where you can dive with stone elephants!!! In fact, in 2006 several statues have been put underwater to create an artificial reef and to attract divers back to Phuket after the 2004 Tsunami. There are two elephant statues, a large oyster shell and a temple gate. Don’t forget your underwater camera as this unusual site offers great photography opportunities. Due to good and easy diving conditions, Siam Bay statues dive site is a popular place for dive training. The maximum depth is 22 meters and the visibility is usually very good.
You can dive Siam Bay Statues all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Siam Bay Statues on the right for the exact location.
