Navigator Lave dive site is located near the Crack Reef on the Northern side of Layang Layang Island. This spot is reserved for advanced and experienced divers only as you will go deep in the blue. The hard and soft coral is magnificent along the wall with numerous sea fans. The marine life is teeming as well as the macro life. You can observe many lionfishes, Angelfishes as well as Giant trevallies, Barracudas and Eagle Rays . This dive site is perfect for underwater macro photography with plenty of nudibranchs and crabs hiding between the rocks. Navigator Lane is also famous for the hundreds of Hammerhead Sharks swimming in the current deep below. A good adrenaline rush! The best season to spot Hammerhead sharks is in April and May. If they are not there you can still observe Grey Sharks patrolling the area or Manta ray swimming by in the current. At the end of your dive, you will make your safety stop in the wonderful coral garden to admire the great variety of reef fishes.
