Crack Reef dive site in Layang Layang atoll is located on the Northern point of the island. It is very close to Navigator Lane dive site so if the current is right you will be able to visit the two sites in a single dive. The marine life is teeming along the reef with very beautiful rare black coral. If you go deeper and you are lucky enough, you will have the chance to see schooling Hammerheads Sharks in the deep blue. An experience of a life time! If not you can still spot the sleeping Leopard Sharks as well as the pygmy seahorses living in the huge sea fans along the wall. You can finish your dive in the shallow and very colourful coral garden and make a safety stop while taking a few last shots! The water is very clear and makes it a perfect spot for underwater macro photography. Enjoy
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isFebruary to April. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Crack Reef on the right for the exact location.
