Princess Ushwa Liveaboard Review

The 32 meters Princess Ushwa is a liveaboard offering scuba diving cruises in the Maldives. The charter liveaboard was thoroughly renovated in 2010 and sails mostly on Male and Ari atolls.

Boat Cabins & Layout

The Princess Ushwa welcomes a maximum of 24 guests on-board each voyage. Indeed, as the vessel displays 12 spacious cabins and great outdoor spaces, that’s plenty of room for every diver to be comfortable. The cabins are all air-conditioned and each comes with an en-suite bathroom with hot water showers. Moreover, the cabins come in various layouts and are spread on 3 decks. First, on the lower deck, some rooms have a double bed plus a top bunk while most feature convertible twin/double beds. Secondly, the main deck has 2 cabins, also with convertible beds and extra space. Finally, the top deck has 2 deluxe cabins, again with either twin or double beds.

Princess Ushwa’s On-board Facilities

The Princess Ushwa displays spacious communal areas both inside and out. The indoor salon and dining room areas are air-conditioned and display plenty of space for the 24 guests to be comfortable. Moreover, the lounge is equipped with a Hi-Fi audio and video entertainment system for you to enjoy! You’ll also find a bar with beverages, snacks, coffe & tea available though the day.

Furthermore, the outside of the Princess Ushwa is as attractive as the inside, if not more! Indeed, that’s were you’ll find more than enough lounging space to enjoy, along with the incredible views of the Maldives! First, there’s a great lounging area at the aft, featuring a corner and plenty of benches and coffee tables. The area is covered, allowing for a comfortable afternoon in the shade.

Finally, the extra spacious top deck is where you’ll find mats and loungers to lay on. It sure is the perfect-picture spot and a favorite when it comes to get a nice tan! Also, there’s a big awning on the sundeck, allowing some shade on a few loungers.
