Carpe Novo On-board Facilities
The MV Carpe Novo is indeed very spacious for the reasonable number of divers it welcomes on-board! If the rooms are spacious, the social areas are just the same! The main deck features a cozy indoor lounge, also wired to the central entertainment system. Plus, there are dining tables on this deck but the best option remains the alfresco dining area of the upper deck! Indeed, the upper deck features the juniors suites, the dining area, plenty of seating space and a fully stocked bar. Most noteworthy, the view is priceless!
Furthermore, the top deck is providing ample space to enjoy the sun and admire the view of the Maldives. It’s partially shaded if you want to read and feel the breeze only. Otherwise, for sun bathers, the are plenty of comfortable cushioned loungers to lay on!
Vessel Layout
The Carpe Novo is quite a lot bigger than it’s two sisterships, the Carpe Diem and the Carpe Vita. Still, she welcomes only 2 more divers than her sisterships, making it a lot more spacious and enjoyable!
Diving with the Carpe Novo
The entire scuba diving operation takes place from the 18 meters dhoni. Indeed, the dive tender is a diving boat on itself as it’s fully equipped and boast plenty of space to store your belongings and gear up! Also, there is a dedicated camera room on the mother ship. Also, please note that the Carpe Novo, like the Carpe Diem offers 3 dives per day – only the Carpe Vita offers 4 dives per day.
Finally, with an outstanding reputation preceding them, the Carpe Novo’s team will sure take great care of you! They are professionals and have years of experience in the Maldives.

Hi! I would be very interested by going on this boat! Did anyone go ? This seems to be just a general outline of the boat but I would like personal experience advice…
I’ve done a dive cruise in cuba last year and that was amazing! Never been to the maldives but I am planning to go over the winter!
Thanks to anyone that can help!
We were on Carpe Novo last week, best thing about this boat is the dive guides, very professional and friendly.. other than that, boat is disappointing and food is average, Service was not impressive compared to other boats and our money was stolen from the safe (as the master key is accessible by everyone) and no one handled it professionally or refunded our stolen money
Hi! Thank you for reading Divezone and taking the time to write your review here. I’m sorry to hear about your average experience with this liveaboard. That said, I’m truly happy to see that at the very least you had a great and safe experience with the dive guides and I do hope the dives were great!
Obviously, I wish you all the best on the next liveaboard venture you will embark on, and safe bubbles, always!
