MV Emperor Orion dive boat review
Recently merged with the Emperor Fleet, the Orion is a 41 meters liveaboard sailing in the Maldives. Indeed, the luxury dive boat is taking some of the best Maldivian dive sites on it’s route. Built in 2009, the Emperor Orion was last upgraded in 2012.

Hi divers!
I’m considering going back on the Orion, I was on a Manta madness with them years ago, when they were with the constellation fleet. So now I’m wondering if it changed a lot as they changed of fleet ? The Emperor doesn’t sound like a human sized company if you see what I mean. Anyways, I would love any recent updates on the Orion. My experience was fantastic so I’m very keen on booking it but thought I should double check when I noticed then changed hands.
Thanks!
If you care about AC do not go on this boat. Only the diningroom/salon has reasonable AC. The cabins have swamp coolers that are not effective especially in upstairs cabin.
