DUNE Theia is a 32 m Maldives dive boat for 20 guests in 10 cabins. Its numbered cabin categories make the exact room assignment more useful than a broad “luxury cabin” description.

The partner records a 2006 build, a 2010 renovation and a beam of 9.4 m. A newer dated major refit and shipyard attribution were not verified.

Life aboard DUNE Theia
Every cabin comes with air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The main deck is home to the outdoor dining area; the Sky Bar gives you another place to relax after diving. Check the current numbered plan when choosing your room.
Diving, itinerary and transfers
Theia uses a separate dive dhoni. Match the itinerary attached to your departure to your experience, and get the current dive requirements and transfers in writing.
This map follows the areas of the ten-night Central Plus itinerary. Other Theia departures have different lengths and routes.
Text itinerary: Malé / North Malé → Rasdhoo → Maaya Thila / North Ari → South Ari / Maamigili → Vaavu / Alimatha → South Malé area → Malé / North Malé. The order is illustrative, not a confirmed departure programme. Confirm the boarding point, direction and daily stops with the operator.
The lines connect reference areas; they are not safe sailing tracks. The captain selects channels and sites according to conditions. No wildlife encounter or individual stop is guaranteed.

Travelling with a non-diver on DUNE Theia?
Acceptance and activities: DUNE Theia’s operator explicitly describes non-diver options, including snorkeling, island excursions and onboard entertainment. Ask which activities are scheduled on your departure, whether a snorkeling guide and equipment are included, and which excursions cost extra. A central cruise and a remote dive expedition can offer different amounts of time ashore.
Non-diver price: the non-diver fare and any discount need to be confirmed for your departure. Request a written quote for your dates, cruise length, cabin and occupancy, stating currency, taxes, transfers and activity extras. Do not assume that unused dives are refunded.

Compare a dated quote for your actual departure and cabin, including currency, nights and occupancy. Ask for the compulsory charges, transfers and diving package as a written total, then add travel, rental equipment and optional spending. Confirm the boarding point and final dive time before arranging flights.

Which Theia rooms are Premium?
The listing identifies cabins 7, 8 and 10. Ask for the number in your confirmation.
Is the Superior cabin the same as a Premium cabin?
No: they are separate categories. Compare the actual layout, deck and price rather than inferring a ranking from the names.
Can I choose a double or separate beds?
Ask for a current photograph and bed plan of the assigned cabin before paying.
Is Nitrox included?
The partner advertises free Nitrox. Confirm eligibility and inclusion on your specific departure, especially if booking a different package.

I joined a group of friends for my diving trip to the Maldives and I was on the Theia Liveaboard. First of all, booking with liveaboard.com was easy and straightforward. Now, the week spent discovering the best dive spots of Ari atolls was simply amazing! We had a cabin on the lower deck and it was just perfect. I guess it more roomy than you would expect on a boat but mostly, it’s cozy! We slept well! We also ate very well. It was nice that the crew asked preferences or dislikes as for the meal prep. It was always good and diverse enough.
The Maldives are beautiful and it was nice to be in living this trip in luxury. The theia is comfortable, the atmosphere is casual I would say but the service is definitely top class. We felt privileged to be there! I and we, with my friend dont usually visit the same place two times but the Maldives may be an exception! :)ç
