Christmas Point dive site in the Similans consists of large rocks and a nice drop off. It is a good spot to observe white tip and blacktip reef sharks as well as Naopleon wrasses and big schools of barracudas. There can sometimes be strong currents and this spot will make a good drift dive, but always check the condtions before jumping. Fans of macro life and underwater photographers will also love this dive site with excellent chances of spotting a frog fish, ribbon eels and many nudibranchs. The drop off is very scenic with lots of sea fans and gives wonderful photo opportunities. It is really one of the best dive sites of the Similan islands worth exploring!
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isOctober to November. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Christmas Point on the right for the exact location.
