Sawasdee Fasai dive boat review
The Sawasdee Fasai liveaboard offers diving cruises on the Andaman Sea, in Thailand. Built in 2004, the 36.8 meters boat has been totally renovated in 2016. The ship offers to take you on the best dive sites of the Andaman Sea between the months of October and May each year.

The cabins
The Sawasdee Fasai can welcome up to 26 guests on-board, hosting them in 13 cozy cabins. Every room, except the 2 budget cabins, have a private en-suite bathroom facility. Also, all the rooms are air-conditioned and offer enough storage space. Specifically, 7 cabins are located on the main deck, featuring sea view windows. The remaining rooms are on the lower deck, this include the 4 standard staterooms and the 2 budget cabins.

Sawasdee Fasai’s on-board facilities
The boat’s main indoor lounge is spacious, located on the upper deck, right by the wheel house. The big windows all over the room allow for a constant appreciation of Thailand‘s landscapes. Plus, the covered outdoor dining room is located at the aft, following the salon.

Of course, the very best view if found up on the sundeck, from which you’ll have an unobstructed view of the Similan Islands. The latter is massive, fitted with both loungers and mats. Plus, there’s a covered area where you relax in the shade, and a fully open area to sunbathe.

Vessel Layout
The Sawasdee Fasai was renovated in 2016, thus, it’s safety and navigation equipment and technologies are up to date. The boat has one sistership at West Coast Divers fleet: the MV Pawara, which also cruises the Andaman Sea.

The spacious dive deck of the Sawasdee Fasai allows plenty of space for the 26 divers to get ready at the same time.
