The Fantasea Reef dive site is one of the best spots of the Similan archipelago. It is located a bit offshore off the west coast of Koh Similan. It features large granite boulders as often seen in the Similans. The marine life is trully fantastic with a great variety and density of fishes. The coral is very beautiful and colorful. It is a great spot for underwater photography, so don’t forget your camera! The visibility is often very good and ranges between 20 and 40 meters.
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here is October to November. Access: Boat. See the map of Fantasea Reef on the right for the exact location.
