MV Smiling Seahorse dive boat review
The MV Smiling Seahorse is a liveaboard boat offering diving cruises in Burma (Myanmar). The 25 meters ship was launched in 2018 by the Smiling Seahorse Fleet. The company used to operate the MV Thai Sea, both in Thailand and Burma. Thus, the Smiling Seahorse might be a new liveaboard, but it comes with an experienced team!

The cabins
The Smiling Seahorse can welcome up to 16 passengers aboard. The boat offers 8 air-conditioned cabins, spread over the main and upper deck. The cabins layout is flexible, with both the option of a double bed or two twin beds in most rooms. Plus, all the main deck cabins have en-suite bathrooms.

the Smiling Seahorse’s on-board facilities
The social areas of the Smiling Seahorse are mostly outdoor, covered spaces. First, the upper deck displays a spacious area which is both the dinning room and the covered salon. Secondly, the very top deck displays a shaded spot, perfect to lounge in a hammock. Plus, there is lots of room to enjoy the bright Burma sun and the stunning view from the top deck.
