Sachika: vessel profile
Sachika was built in 2007. The 33 m boat has a 10 m beam, ten cabins and capacity for 22 guests. A separate dhoni carries the diving equipment and compressors. Published dhoni dimensions conflict, so its exact length should be confirmed rather than inferred from older descriptions.
Which cabin should you book?

Cabins have air-conditioning and private bathrooms. Specify whether you need separate beds, a double, a view or sole occupancy; a category name alone does not settle those details.
Life aboard Sachika
There is an indoor air-conditioned restaurant on the main deck. The restaurant serves western and local food in a buffet style. The lounge and outdoor seating give guests several places to relax between dives, while the sundeck and hot tub make the most of time at anchor.
Let the operator know about dietary needs before booking. Ask which drinks and internet package are included; connectivity at sea should not be treated as a reliable work connection.
Travelling with a non-diver on Sachika?
Acceptance and activities: Sachika is listed as welcoming non-divers, with a snorkeling programme and activities such as fishing and beach visits. The partner lists snorkeling equipment among optional extras. Confirm the guide, equipment, excursion inclusions and dates for your particular central or southern departure; a specialist dive route is not automatically a snorkeling holiday.
Non-diver price: the non-diver fare and any discount need to be confirmed for your departure. Request a written quote for your dates, cruise length, cabin and occupancy, stating currency, taxes, transfers and activity extras. Do not assume that unused dives are refunded.
Diving, routes and experience
A separate dive dhoni keeps equipment and compressors away from the accommodation. Nitrox is available; the partner package checked includes it. Central, northern and Deep South departures have different routes and experience requirements. Ask for the written requirements before choosing a trip.
Check the itinerary attached to your departure. Malé–Malé routes avoid the domestic-flight logistics of many southern trips. Currents can change the site order and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. See the Maldives diving guide for seasons and atolls.
Get the minimum logged dives, certification, required equipment and no-fly interval in writing from the operator. A statement that a boat welcomes beginners does not mean every route or dive is suitable for them.

Budget, inclusions and extras
The live calendar showed 7-night Central Atolls departures on 14 and 21 November 2026 with limited spaces, and 28 November with availability. No comparable EUR cabin quote was verified, so no unqualified cheapest-price claim is made. The partner lists mandatory extras separately: environmental tax USD 12/day, fuel USD 65–175/week, service charge USD 150–255/trip and applicable park charges up to USD 45/activity. Confirm the amounts applicable to your date.

Is this the right boat for you?
Sachika combines a relatively small cabin count with several outdoor spaces. Check the assigned cabin and dive grouping: these can matter more than the Suite label.

When was Sachika built?
The operator and partner both list 2007. A build year does not describe present condition, and no unverified recent refit date is added here.
Where are Sachika’s Suites?
Three Suites are on the upper deck. Six Standard cabins and one Junior Suite are below; Junior Suite does not mean an upper-deck room.
Can a cabin take three guests?
The operator says a third bed can be requested in some cabins. Confirm the specific room and occupancy rather than assuming all ten cabins are triples.
How does diving from Sachika work?
Divers use a separate dhoni, keeping tanks and compressors away from the accommodation. Confirm equipment rental and the language of your guide before departure.
Will divers be grouped by experience?
Ask how groups are assigned. An August 2026 reviewer reported a wide ability range, which affected their experience; this does not establish the arrangement on every trip.
Are additional dives included?
The operator’s central-atoll description offers an optional fourth dive at an extra cost depending on participation. Check the scheduled and optional dive totals in the quote.
Does every trip use the same route?
No. The operator markets central, northern and southern programmes. The map here describes the central route, not Wild Deep South or Manta Madness.
Which charges should I confirm?
Get the cruise fare, taxes, fuel and service charges, park activities, transfers and any optional diving in one written total. The listed Nitrox package can differ from a bare boat rate.
