Hammerhead II dive boat review

The Hammerhead II liveaboard is a spacious 45 meters vessel which offers diving cruises in the Egyptian Red Sea. Built in 2019, this liveaboard is the most recent vessel of the Hammerhead fleet. Custom-built for diving, the Hammerhead II proudly boasts to offer a luxurious and professional diving experience.

The cabins

On the Hammerhead II, you will find 16 cabins for a maximum of 32 guests. The first deck features 8 standard cabins with single beds and shared bathrooms. The 6 cabins on the upper deck are categorized as “standard plus” cabins and each features a private en-suite bathroom. Finally, at the front of the upper deck, you will find 2 master cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom and panoramic windows to admire the view. Plus, every room has an individually controlled air-conditioning switch, so you can have your room temperature to your liking. Also, paid internet and laundry service are available and the diving cruise offers daily housekeeping.

Hammerhead II’s On-board Facilities

The Hammerhead II offers a multitude of onboard facilities for you to enjoy your trip as much as possible. The diving cruise features an indoor living room combined with a dining area. This modern room has panoramic windows which offer the best views over the Red Sea while having a good meal. The meals are served in a buffet style and the cruise offers free snacks all day. You will find a sun deck on the upper deck with couches on display, will the fly deck also has a sun lounging area with everything you need. Also, the fly deck has a hot tub and a minibar, perfect to soak in the sun and relax between dives.

Scuba Diving with the Hammerhead II

Going on a scuba diving cruise on the Hammerhead II will get you to explore the best diving spot in Egypt. Indeed, with an experienced crew, you will have the chance to discover amazing diving spots on the Red Sea such as Daedalus, Brothers, St John’s, Rocky Zabargad, and Elphinstone. The Hammerhead II is well equipped, with air compressors, including nitrox. as well as rinsing hoses and spacious stations. Plus, the liveaboard has two diving boats to bring you to and from every diving spot. The diving deck is spacious, with plenty of room for divers to prepare before the dives. Finally, note that the liveaboard is snorkeler friendly.
