KLM Mari dive boat review

The Mari is a 30 meters liveaboard offering scuba diving cruises in Indonesia. The Mari offers itineraries in Raja Ampat, the Komodo National Park and the Banda Sea. Last renovated in 2016, the Mari offers both a comfortable and modern cruise. Also, with an emphasis put on the quality of the cruise, the Mari welcomes a small number of 10 passengers on each voyage.

The Cabins

Welcoming only 10 guests on-board, the Mari can offer spacious cabins and lavish social areas. The 5 cabins are located on the main deck, thus they all have good size windows. Plus each room features a private bathroom, air-conditioning and enough storage space.

As for the layout, there are 2 cabins with both a double bed and a single bunk. Also, 1 cabin has a king size bed, while the remaining 2 are twin shared, featuring bunk beds.

Mari’s on-board facilities

The boat offers massive social areas so you can always have a sense of privacy during the cruise. Indeed, with a maximum of 10 guests aboard, the lounge, dining area and sundeck are definitely considered over sized! First, the open air dining area and lounge are located on the upper deck. Thus, they allow a fantastic panoramic view over the landscapes of Indonesia‘s many islands. mari liveaboard diving cruise

Secondly, there are two sundeck areas on the Mari. The first one is located at the bow, as pictured below, and the second one is on the very top deck. Of course, both areas offer a stunning view overlooking Raja Ampat, or Komodo, or any Indonesian region you’re in! You will find cozy loungers and mats to lay on and soak in the sun rays.
