Ghazala Explorer dive boat review

The Ghazala Explorer is a modern 37 meters yacht offering diving cruises in the Egyptian Red Sea. Launched in 2021, the Ghazala Explorer is a part of the Ocean Tribe Fleet and offers multiple itineraries allowing you to discover the most popular diving spot in the Red Sea such as Abu Nuhas, Brothers, Ras Mohammed, and more.

The cabins

The Ghazala Explorer features 12 rooms, each with its own private bathroom as well as individually controlled air-conditioning. A maximum of 24 guests are welcome on board. As for rooms, you will have the choice between suites that feature a double bed or standard rooms with a mix of single and double beds. The cabins are spread over the lower and upper decks. In every cabin, you will find amenities such as hand towels, bath towels, and beach towels. On top of that,  laundry service is also offered on the boat.

Ghazala Explorer’s On-board Facilities

The boat offers plenty of space for you to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors. First, you will find a spacious indoor lounge as well as a dining area set up like a restaurant. Meals are prepared fresh daily and served buffet-style in the restaurant. Also, the lounge features a complete audio and video entertainment unit.

Moreover, on the upper deck, you will find a sundeck with loungers and bean bags to take in the view of the Egyptian Red Sea. The sundeck offers a covered and open area which is perfect for guests who want to enjoy the sun or relax outside in the shade. Other facilities are also offered such as a library, free wifi, and more.

 

Scuba Diving with the Ghazala Explorer

Going on a scuba diving cruise on the Ghazala Explorer will get you to explore the best diving sites of the Egyptian Red Sea. The vessel is custom-made for diving and has a ratio of a maximum of 8 divers to 1 guide. At the stern, you will find a spacious dive deck with individual gear-up stations and rinse hoses. The dive deck offers a lot of space to gear up and storage place under the seats. The diving deck extends into a diving platform, so you can easily get on and off the tenders. As for your diving equipment, if you want to travel light, you can rent it from the Ghazala Explorer. Plus, there’s a camera table dedicated to underwater photographers, so you will have no problem setting up your gear before dives.
