Galaxy 720 dive boat review
The Galaxy 720 is a liveaboard exploring the Egyptian Red Sea. The 42 meters vessel was built in 2009 and completely renovated in 2021. The itineraries offered run from north to south of the Red Sea and cover the most popular diving spots in the area such as Abu Nuhas, St John’s, Fury Shoals, and more.
The cabins
The Galaxy 720 welcomes 24 scuba divers in 12 cabins. Indeed, you can find 9 standard cabins with double beds and 4 suites with king-size beds. The cabins are spread over the lower and upper decks. Each room features an air conditioner as well as an en-suite bathroom. In the suite, however, you will find 2 sofas and an entertainment unit with a TV and DVD player. The upper deck suite even offers a large window to admire the view of the sea.

Galaxy 720’s On-board Facilities
On the Galaxy 720, you will find plenty of spaces to relax between the dives. Indeed, the ship features an air-conditioned indoor saloon with large sea-view windows. You will find couches, a complete media unit, and a bar which makes it a great place to relax during the day. At the bow of the main deck, you will also find an indoor dining area where all the meals will be served during the trip. A variety of food will be made by the private cook onboard along the trip.
Moreover, on the upper deck, there’s a spacious sundeck with enough chairs to welcome all the guests after a diving day. Since the outdoor lounge offers both shaded and non-shaded areas, this is the perfect place to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade.
Scuba Diving with the Galaxy 720
This liveaboard takes you on itineraries all over the Red Sea and is fully equipped to do so. Indeed, the Galaxy 720 features a spacious dive deck at the stern. The dive deck has enough place to prepare yourself to dive and plenty of storage space for your equipment. Moreover, you will find everything you need to handle, rinse and care for your gear. The liveaboard also features two large dive dinghies and gives the opportunity to rent equipment if needed.
