Eric and Letty ship review

The Eric and the Letty are two identical liveaboard offering adventure cruises in the Galapagos Islands. Indeed, the 25 meters vessels are offering first class routes to discover all the best of the islands.


Cabins

There are 10 cabins on both the Eric and the Letty, welcoming a maximum of 20 guests on each. Every cabin has air-conditioning and a private en-suite bathroom. Also, the cabins offer either a double bed or single bunk beds. Plus, all the cabins have plenty of storage space, biodegradable toiletries a sea view, with either a porthole or a window.

The Eric and the Letty both have spacious restaurant-like dining areas. Plus, the wall-to-wall windows allow a wonderful view over the Galapagos Islands seascape all along the cruise. The indoor bar and the lounges, fitted with proper entertainment units, are located right after the restaurant on the main decks.

Moreover, both vessels are offering a spacious sundeck on the top bridge. You will find plenty of cozy loungers and chairs all over the place. Plus, being partly shaded, the sundeck is ideal for both sunbathing or reading a book in the cool shade.

Eric and Letty’s itineraries and activities

The itineraries of both the Eric and the Letty Galapagos adventure cruise are a full week, so 7 nights. The departure and return ports are always with easy airport access, so either on Baltra or San Cristobal

  • Itinerary A – Southern and Central route: This itinerary covers the islands of San Cristobal, Espanola, Floreana and Santa Cruz. Also, the highlights are mostly the pinnacle rock of Bartholomew, the boobies, the snorkel with penguins, the spotting of marine iguanas and the possible swim with the sea lions.

  • Itinerary B – Western and Northern route: The islands you will visit are Genovesa, Santa Cruz, Fernandina, Isabela and Santiago. This cruise highlights the volcanic formations and lava tubes of Fernandina, snorkeling with penguins, discovering the marine iguanas, visit the giant tortoise in the highland, and much more.
