The cabins

The MV Spirit of Freedom welcomes divers in 11 cabins of different layouts, accommodating all budget options. In total, the spacious air-conditioned cabins can sleep up to a maximum of 26 divers, each with its own bathroom. When it comes to the cabin, the choice is yours between spacious double occupancy rooms and budget-friendly options such as the quadruple occupancy cabin.

The cabins on the Spirit of Freedom are mostly located below deck, but some are on the bridge deck. The latter feature ocean-view windows, flat-screen televisions and are more spacious.

Spirit of Freedom’s On-board Facilities

Guests comfortably hang out in the lounge bar or in the saloon, which also serves as a dining area, with entertainment facilities like TV, DVD player and a movie library. The only thing you can complain about Spirit of Freedom is its frequent serving of delicious Australian and international food that might affect those who are trying to lose weight!

Talented chefs onboard serve 2 sets of breakfast, before and after the first dive of the day, plus lunch, dinner, and snacks in between. Let’s just say you won’t go hungry!

Scuba Diving with the Spirit of Freedom

The MV Spirit of Freedom is all equipped to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef and beyond! Indeed, the boat features a spacious dive deck, but also a motorized dinghy to get you straight to the dive sites. On the dive deck, you will find separate rinse tanks, tables for your photography equipment, and much more.

The Spirit of Freedom offers different diving cruises throughout the year, with itineraries of 3, 4, and 7 days. These will take you to discover some of the best diving sites in Australia, with the Great Barrier Reef, the Coral Sea, and even the Northern Virgin Reefs on the map.
