The Galapagos Sky is a liveaboard cruising the Galapagos Islands with accommodation for 16 guests. Its social areas are sizable, giving guests space to relax together or find a quieter corner between dives. For a meaningful comparison with other yachts, look beyond the headline fare: Sky’s published package includes Nitrox and selected onboard drinks.

Find your cabin

Cabin choice Layout What to check
Deluxe · cabins 5–8 Lower deck; two fixed twin beds and a porthole. 9.2 m² including bathroom, according to the operator.
Master · cabins 1–4 Upper deck; king or twin configuration and picture window. 10 m² including bathroom; useful for couples wanting a double bed.
All cabins Private bathroom, air-conditioning and storage. Ask for single-occupancy terms if travelling alone.

Found a cabin you like? Ask for its number, bed layout and deck location, and check how many stairs you’ll use. If you’re travelling solo, make sure the sharing arrangement works for you before you book.

Unwind between dives

The Sky has an extensive lounge and dining area. Meals combine Ecuadorian specialties and international dishes. The salon has large windows and comfortable seating, making it a good place to review the day’s photographs. There is also a bar and outdoor space for resting between dives. The operator now lists complimentary Wi-Fi; connection quality at remote islands can vary.

Diving and itinerary

The programme includes Wolf and Darwin, with tender diving and camera preparation facilities aboard. The published 7-night package allows up to four dives on diving days over approximately five and a half days, subject to conditions. A 10-night itinerary is also advertised. Match the itinerary to your priorities rather than assuming every cruise has the same number of dives or land visits.

Is this trip right for you?

Sky requires dive-accident insurance and proof of Nitrox certification to use Nitrox. Its FAQ describes a 50–100-dive experience range, recent diving within six months and possible mandatory private-guide charges for underqualified or non-Nitrox-certified divers. Have the operator approve your experience in writing; Nitrox classes are not offered onboard.

Discuss cold-water comfort, currents, tender entries, rental sizes and any non-diver activities before booking. For seasonal planning, use our Galapagos diving guide. No yacht can guarantee a particular animal encounter.

Plan your trip: 2026 prices and extras

Cost comparison: use the shared 7-night budget and extras breakdown to compare Nitrox, taxes and compulsory fees on the same basis. Figures are planning references, not a live quote.

Published 2026 fares, USD per person sharing:

Trip Deluxe Master
7 nights / 8 days 7,495 7,795
10 nights / 11 days 8,890 9,290

The published package includes meals, selected drinks, Nitrox, tanks and weights, guides, scheduled excursions and airport/dock transfers on cruise dates. The mandatory chamber support contribution is USD 35 and is collected in advance; it is not insurance. Budget separately for park entry, transit card, flights, hotels, insurance, rentals and gratuities. Ask whether port or other charges apply before comparing the full total.

All reference fares are subject to reconfirmation. Check the currency, per-person basis, cabin, taxes, deposit and cancellation conditions on the actual quote.

Flights, transfers and time aboard

Plan the journey with our Galapagos travel guide and check seasonal conditions in the Galapagos diving guide. Confirm the arrival and departure airports for your exact itinerary before buying flights, especially on longer cruises.

The usual week runs from San Cristóbal (SCY), with Sunday arrival/departure arrangements. Do not book Baltra flights for this itinerary by mistake. Allow time in mainland Ecuador before joining and use the flight arrangements confirmed for your particular departure. The operator’s schedule leaves the last dive on Saturday morning before Sunday flights; follow its final timetable.

No. Compare the budget section with your invoice and include flights, hotels, insurance, mandatory charges and your chosen extras.
