The Danubio Azul offers both naturalist and diving cruises in the Galapagos Islands. That distinction matters: a wildlife sightseeing voyage is not interchangeable with a Darwin and Wolf diving itinerary. Current partner information describes a 24.8-metre boat with 16 guests and nine cabins, replacing this page’s older ten-guest, five-cabin description.

Check bed configuration, deck location, stairs and sharing arrangements on your confirmation. A category name alone does not guarantee a particular room.

Unwind between dives

The Danubio Azul offers an open-air dining area in a covered part of the deck. You will also find outdoor space for enjoying the views between activities. Its current partner gallery shows the sundeck, dining room and dive deck as well as the cabins. Air-conditioning and private bathrooms are listed for the accommodation.

Diving and itinerary

Diving departures from Baltra visit northern sites including Wolf and Darwin according to the selected programme. Naturalist departures are also sold: check that the itinerary explicitly includes scuba diving, the desired northern sites and the number of scheduled diving days. The current listing includes Nitrox facilities and naturalist guidance. Wildlife sightings, landings and dive sites are always subject to conditions and permissions.

Ask for written confirmation of the certification, logged-dive, recent-experience and insurance requirements for the exact diving itinerary. Check Nitrox certification and rental availability before arrival. Naturalist or snorkelling suitability does not mean the offshore dive sites are suitable for beginners.

A single cabin may have its own fare. Confirm the number of nights and diving days before comparing this boat with a seven-night specialist dive yacht.
