Red beach is the best place in the Komodo National park for Snorkeling. All the species from the marine park can be found here. Snorkeling with manta rays in the rainy season is just magical This is also a good dive site with a sloping reef going to 25 m deep. This dive site is also excellent for the macro photographers as many species of rare and small fishes and invertebrates can be found here. This is also a very good site for night dives.
You can dive Red Beach all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Red Beach on the right for the exact location.
