Tokong Laut might just be one the best dive sites in Perhenthians Islands. It is a huge pinnacle surrunded by a very rich marine life with scorpionfish, turtles, bamboo sharks and much more. The hard and soft coral is also beautiful. Along the reef, you can find tunnels and small caves ideal for underwater photography. The sandy bottom is about 19 m deep.

Macro observation and photography spot. This location is a Reef. This is great place for spotting and diving with Sharks!

Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here is March to April. Access: Boat. See the map of Tokong Laut on the right for the exact location.

  1. dived on 13.7.2013 around the pinnacle at tokong laut. sea was choppy, visibility down to 15m. lots of soft corals,rays. dive time 40min 20m. As the season is just starting..and weather improving things should be better in the coming months.Great dive operators at Perhentian Island Resort. Ask for Rashid.

  2. The best dive site in Perhentian. It’s like diving in an aquarium with beautiful soft corals and colourful fishes. The weather was superb when we dived last week (August) and we used the dive centre at Perhentian Island Resort.
