The 21 meters Gahaa is a liveaboard operating in the Maldives. Built in 1990, the Gahaa is pleasing clients ever since as a proud member of the Voyages Maldives fleet.

Boat cabins & Layout

The Gahaa is perfect for large group of friends or families. The cabin layout is flexible as there are 5 cabins, accommodating between 2 and 3 guests. There’s 1 cabin featuring a double bed plus a top bunk while 4 cabins have a double bed. Also, there are only 2 cabins with en-suite bathroom, the others share 2 common bathrooms with shower head. All the cabins are fan cooled.

Gahaa’s on-board facilities

The cabins are all located on the lower deck, leaving all the space on the main deck and upper deck for great social areas. Indeed, the main deck is home to an indoor lounge fitted with bench seating. Plus, the open air area displays a table as the main dining area. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Maldives while having freshly prepared meals.

Furthermore, as you head upstairs, you’ll find a sizable sundeck area. This one is uncovered and perfect to soak in the sun rays or watch the starry sky at night. It’s indeed a picture perfect spot and the ideal place, overlooking the Maldivian sunsets.

Vessel Layout

The Gahaa may be small but is has all the expected communication and navigation equipment. Also, with a cruising speed of 7 knots and a very stable layout, the Gahaa sure promises comfortable voyages through the Maldivian atolls. The ship has many siblings as it’s a member of the Voyages Maldives fleet. There’s the Gurahali, which is much bigger, and the equally sized Kethi, Koimala, Gulfaam and Sea Coral.

Diving with the Gahaa

The Gahaa offers different kind of cruises, including a scuba diving cruise. Other activities available are night fishing, snorkeling, surfing, island hopping and cultural excursions. Also, when a scuba diving cruise is requested, the Gahaa includes a professional guide or instructor to add to the crew of 4. Plus, they add a diving dhoni to the trip, so you and your dive buddies can get straight to the action packed waters.
