Sea Coral dive boat review
The 19 meters long Sea Coral offers scuba diving and surfing cruises in the Maldives. Built in 1988, the Sea Coral is the smallest of the Voyages Maldives fleet.
Boat Cabins & Layout
The Sea Coral is the perfect boat to charter with a group of friends to either scuba dive, surf or simply cruise and snorkel. Indeed, the boat features 3 cabins with bunk-beds, with some lower bunks being double beds. Also, there are two bathrooms with shower heads to be shared between the guests.

Sea Coral’s On-board Facilities
The lower deck is where you will find all of the cabins and also, a cozy living room area. Indeed, the salon displays a TV as well as a DVD and music player. On the main deck, the action happens outside. First, by the bow, there’s an open air and partially shaded area with mats, a table, and chairs. It’s the perfect spot to relax or take a nap and it’s also where the delicious meals are served.

Furthermore, at the aft of the main deck is the dining table, where the on-board Chef serves meals. Plus, as you get to the very top deck you will find a spacious sundeck and a picture-perfect view of the Maldives.

Vessel Layout
The Sea Coral might be the smallest ship of the Voyages Maldives Fleet, but it has nothing to envy to other boats. Of course, the dive boat features all the required safety and navigation equipment. Also, being much smaller has some advantages, like getting to the best dive spots without a diving dhoni! Bigger sisterships like the Gurahali or the Koimala could probably not do that.
Scuba Diving with the Sea Coral
Diving in the Maldives is always amazing, the one thing that can enhance your experience is the liveaboard you dive with! The Sea Coral is great for small groups of friends and allows a custom made itinerary. You can have either a scuba diving cruise or a surfing cruise with this vessel. Also, there are more activities offered, such as cultural excursions, fishing, snorkeling, beach barbecues, etc.
Please visit the vessel’s website for schedules & prices.
