Gulfaam’s On-board Facilities
The Gulfaam’s main deck is where divers get together and relax. Indeed, there are social areas inside, but also at the bow and at the very back. Plus, the top deck is an entire sundeck area, the favourite spot of the sun chasers! First, there’s a small, but cozy, indoor salon with a television, music and DVD player. Secondly, outside you will be happy to find a large area to lounge at the bow, with mats, a table, and chairs. Finally, head to the rear of the Gulfaam to find a nice dining area where freshly prepared dishes are served. Plus, at dinner time it often offers a perfect Maldives sunset landscape.
.
Vessel Layout
The wooden hulled Gulfaam is about the same size as other ships of the Voyages Maldives Fleet. Indeed, the Kethi, Gahaa and Sea Coral are similarly sized. Also, the Gulfaam follows the same line of standards as other ships in term of safety and navigation equipment.
Scuba Diving with the Gulfaam
If you want to explore the underwater wonders of the Maldives with a group of friends, small boats like the Gulfaam should do it! Indeed, a smaller boat means uncrowded scuba diving, and in this case, a custom made itinerary! It’s a great opportunity to get up close to the unique marine flora and fauna of the Maldives. Moreover, you can add many extra activities to your journey, fishing, snorkeling, surfing, island hopping and cultural excursions are available.
