KM Bidadari dive boat review
The 37 meters Bidadari is a liveaboard cruising the waters of Indonesia. Indeed, the traditional wooden phinisi offers itineraries to Bali, Lombok, Raja Ampat, Amba, Flores, Komodo, etc. The Bidadari use to offer schedule cruises but as of 2017, the boat will operate on a full charter basis.
.
Boat Cabins & Layout
The KM Bidadari features 6 cabins, all located on the lower deck. Each cabin displays a double bed and four of them have an additional single berth on top. Indeed, the ship welcomes a maximum of 14 guests, which leaves plenty of space for everyone to have a feel of privacy. Moreover, the cabins come complete with air-conditioning and a small private bathroom. Also, please note that there’s enough wardrobe space in the room. On the other hand, the Bidadari kindly advises customer to be mindful as there is not much space to store big luggage pieces.

KM Bidadari’s On-board Facilities
The cruise ship is spacious, with 4 full decks and maximum 14 divers and guests on-board, you’ll sure find yourself a quiet spot if you want to. The lower deck is home to the cabins and the main deck is where you’ll find the main social areas, inside & out, and the dive deck. Indeed, the over sized indoor lounge and dining room take the entire main deck. Toward the aft, you have the big salon, equipped cozy couches and fully air-conditioned. By the bow, there’s a booth-style seating area where you’ll enjoy freshly prepared dishes.
.
Furthermore, if you step outside on the main deck, you’ll end up on the bow. This area is fitted with loungers and is partially shaded. Plus, the upper deck also features an outdoor salon area. And, finally, the very top deck is an immense sundeck where you can enjoy the unspoilt views of Indonesia and the beautiful sunset a night.

Vessel Layout
The KM Bidadari is very spacious, especially considering the small number of guests on-board. If this vessel can compare to any other, it would be to the Damai I which is similar in size, style and number of guest. That being said, as the Bidadari proudly boasts, they offer great rates for charter cruises so perhaps that’s an advantage!
.
Scuba Diving with the Bidadari
The cruising ship offers many kinds of cruises. Indeed, from language learning and cultural cruises to scuba diving charters, it also offers the famous yoga cruises. The Bidadari is a custom-built schooner and is very well organised as a diving charter vessel.
The professional scuba diving team of guides and dive masters are touring and diving the waters of Indonesia all year. Needless to say, they are more than skilled to make your group a great itinerary and guide you through an unforgettable adventure.
Please visit the boat’s webpage to see price lists and schedules.
