Jaya dive boat review
The Jaya is a liveaboard offering budget diving cruises in Indonesia. Indeed, the 23 meters vessel is sailing on both Komodo and Raja Ampat routes. As a member of the Scuba Republic fleet, the boat offers a great, low-cost, diving cruise which is ideal for backpackers that what do explore Indonesia a little further!
The cabins
The Jaya can welcome a maximum of 14 guests as they have 6 rooms available on the lower deck. Every cabins is air-conditioned, includes bedding and towels as well as electrical outlets to charge your devices. You’ll have the choice between 4 double-occuancy cabins and 2 triple occupancy rooms.

Jaya’s on-board facilities
The upper deck of the Jaya is the main communal area. Indeed, that’s where you’ll find a covered dining area and the refreshment/snack corner. Furthermore, above this deck you’ll fin a sundeck area filled with bean bags. It’s the best spot to take in the best views over Indonesia and all the islands you’ll pass by.
Vessel Layout
The Jaya might be a modest boat, but it features a whole range of modern equipment when it comes to safety and navigation purpose. The vessel, owned by the Scuba Republic fleet, is all set for a great budget scuba diving cruise. So is it’s smaller sistership, the Epica.

Most trips offered with the Jaya will take you on a 6 night budget diving cruise to discover Raja Ampat. The Jaya allows you to discover some of the best dive sites of Raja Ampat such as Arborek Island, Penemu, Kawe, Gam and Mioskon.
Furthermore, you’ll be able to complete up to 4 dives a day, guided by the experienced crew. Also, the small groups of 4 a privileged on the Jaya as it offers a higher quality dive, but it also minimizes the impact on the marine environment.

One of the best Wreck Dives in the World!!! And the most easy for sure, 30m from the Shore and starts at 4m deep! Fantastic Marine life and great Coral!
Pemutaran, Lovina
No current, Good visibility, unusual Marine Life and one of the BEST Diving sites around Bali for Muck Diving: Puri Jati (P.J.).
Padang Bai
Night Diving, Underwater Macro Photography, Resident Whitetip Reef Sharks, Huge green Turtles, and crystal clear water! Also a great Snorkelling spot!
Menjangan Island
Menjangan Island is famous worldwide for Wall diving with small caverns to explore. The reef and Coral are also great. A very nice wooden wreck from the 19th century: Anker Wreck.
Nusa Penida / Nusa Lembongan
One of the best spots in the world to see the rare Mola Mola and the graceful Manta Rays! Big fishes and action with lots of sharks. Very good Visibility and stunning Coral.
Candidasa
It is all about action! Big pelagic fishes, hunting action in the current, and many Sharks! Regular seeing of Hammerhead Sharks and Mola Mola!
Bali
Diving in Bali is simply amazing as you will see both an incredible array of marine life and plenty of wrecks. Indeed, Bali's underwater world will expose you to meet interesting critters, fishes of all sizes and mantas rays among others! Plus, scuba diving in Bali means being all in for stunning underwater visibility and great opportunities for drift diving. !
