MV Discovery Adventure dive boat review
The MV Discovery Adventure is a liveaboard sailing mostly on the Tubbataha reef, Philippines and in Palau. The 47 meters dive vessel was formerly known as the Yasawa and has been going through extensive renovations in 2016-2017.

Boat Cabins & Layout
The Discovery Adventure can welcome a maximum of 28 guests which are hosted in 14 double-occupancy cabins. First, there are 8 cabins located on the lower deck, two of those have a queen bed while the 6 remaining have two twin beds. Second, there are 4 main cabins with 2 double beds each plus 2 VIP cabins each featuring movable twin beds as well as a huge window.

MV Discovery Adventure on-board facilities
The newly refurbished dive boat features a lavish salon area. Indeed, the lounge-like area offers wall-to-wall windows so you can enjoy the view of either the Philippines, or Palau, while enjoying the air-conditioning. Moreover, the Discovery Adventure also features and outdoor, shaded, dining deck. Of course, there is also the usual uncovered sun deck which is the perfect place to sunbath, look at the stars or take pictures!

Scuba Diving with the MV Discovery Adventure
The sizable dive boat has one sistership which also operates in the Philippines, it’s the Discovery Palawan. Both vessel belong to the Discovery Fleet, which has a great reputation.
Diving wise, the MV Discovery Adventure features more than enough space on the dive deck for everyone to gear up and never feel cramped. Plus, all the amenities you can wish for are available. You can rent your full gear set with them, they have plenty of storage and nitrox is available. Finally, the vessel also has a dedicated camera room for the photography enthusiast!
