The Bat Cave is a rather challenging dive site in Boracay. It is cave system that is connected to Bat Cave that you can visit by land. You need to be at least Padi Open Water Advanced to dive this spot. You can only explore this site if the conditions are good with no waves.

Here you will gaze your eyes upon beautiful Coral as well as an interesting Marine Life, including Banded Sea Snakes as well as Lobsters and Lionfishes.

The maximum depth is only 6m but due to the current and the waves it can be a challenging dive. Expect a visibility ranging between 5m to 15m.

This is a Cave diving spot, make sure you have all required certifications.

You can dive Bat Cave all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Bat Cave on the right for the exact location.

One Dive Log in “Bat Cave”

  1. Rare piercing peacock flounders and shortnose batfish camoflage themselves against the colorful and sandy base. After you swim through the cave-like entrance into the deep crater, it’s a totally different dive site, with schools of soldier fish and stripy grunts awaiting discovery.
