MV Marco Polo dive boat review
The Marco Polo is a liveaboard of Thailand, offering 6 nights itineraries to the Similan Islands. Indeed, from November to April, you can embark on a scuba diving cruise taking you to the best of the Andaman Sea. Itineraries not only include the Similan Islands but also Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock.

Boat Cabins & Layout
The Marco Polo welcomes a maximum of 14 guests in 7 cabins. The twin or double cabins can have either a fan or air-conditioning, it’s your choice! Moreover, the cabin’s layout offers some flexibility as four cabins are twin shared, so featuring two bunk beds, and three cabins have a double bed, also featuring a bunk on top.
Toilets and showers are shared between the divers.

Marco Polo On-board’s Facilities
The Marco Polo features a roomy indoor lounge and dining area. It’s also where you will find refreshments and snacks available all day. Plus, there’s a sizable outdoor lounge and dine area with plenty of space for every body.
Furthermore, there is a partially shaded sun deck on the top deck. It’s definitely a great place to relax, enjoy the breeze and contemplate the ever changing views of the many archipelagos on your route! The Similan Islands will sure look good from up there!

Diving with the Marco Polo
The Marco Polo is all equipped for the safest Scuba diving operation. The size of the deck and the convenience of it’s layout makes it very polyvalent. Indeed, you can get your gear on and off without feeling cramped and there’s plenty of storage space.
Furthermore, one of the nicest addition to the boat are the 2 dive deck showers! Plus, the scuba diving platform is equipped with two ladders, making entries and exits easier!
Finally, the Marco Polo proudly boasts to have an “all smiles” professional crew which loves pampering customers! We bet you’re all set for a great week of diving!

Very nice crew, great food! The boat itself could use an upgrade but with the price, ones can’t complain! Diving the Similan was incredible and I’ve seen 3 whale sharks at richelieu rock… totally worth the 1000 bucks and beyond haha!
